Jaguar Mines

Jaguar’s gold operations, Turmalina, Paciência and Caeté, are located in the Iron Quadrangle region, a prolific greenstone belt near the city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Jaguar controls 27,357 hectares of mineral concessions in this area.

Tierra Group International, Ltd. visited Jaguar’s mining operations in the Iron Quadrangle to provide technical peer review of Jaguar’s tailings and waste management practices to identify potential operation/construction cost savings, improve safety, or both. The review included operations at six tailings storage facilities (TSF) and one waste rock/tailings-cake storage facility at the three mining operations.
