Tierra Group supervisó un programa de investigación de perforación geotécnica e hidrogeológica en la mina Quellaveco de Anglo American, en la región de Moquegua, Perú.

Investigación Geotécnica

Tierra Group desarrolló un plan de investigación geotécnica e hidrogeológica dentro y cerca de la huella del tajo Quellaveco. Este trabajo complementará los estudios geotécnicos y los modelos de aguas subterráneas anteriores, incluidas las condiciones hidrogeológicas actuales que involucran la perforación geotécnica, el bombeo y la instalación de pozos de observación (piezómetros de tubo abierto).

Soporte de Geotécnica

Tierra Group recolectó datos geomecánicos de campo (inspecciones, mapeos, muestreos, pruebas, entre otros) de los túneles, camino planta-mina, áreas de base de botadero, acceso a tranque de relaves, taludes de taller de camiones, bypass y no accesos permanentes. El proyecto incluyó procesamiento de datos, análisis de ingeniería (como estabilidad de taludes y análisis cinemático) y monitoreo geotécnico de áreas de interés. Además, se brindó apoyo geotécnico para la construcción de túneles, supervisión de estructuras de mina en el Área 2000, supervisión de caminos de acceso y administración general.

El contrafuerte y Diseño de Plataforma de Lixiviación en Pila

Tierra Group desarrolló diseños de ingeniería detallados para construir un contrafuerte y una plataforma de lixiviación. El proyecto incluyó mapeo geológico, pruebas de laboratorio geotécnico, investigación geofísica, estudio de riesgo sísmico y estabilidad de taludes.
