Tierra Group realizó una revisión de diseño por parte de un tercero de una instalación de relaves cementados (CTF, por sus siglas en inglés) y múltiples estanques de proceso y de agua dulce. Los relaves se mezclarán con cemento en la planta de pasta planificada y se depositarán en el CTF junto con la roca subterránea de desarrollo de la mina. Proteger el robusto sistema de revestimiento del tráfico de camiones de carga presentaba un desafío único. Se desarrolló un plan de deposición de rocas y relaves de desarrollo personalizado para que los relaves modificados con cemento espesado se puedan depositar en temperaturas frías sin equipos complejos y costosos. Tierra Group ha asumido la responsabilidad del Ingeniero de Registro (EoR) para el CTF propuesto y los estanques de proceso.
