Tramitación de Permisos de Mina Sweetwater

El equipo de Tierra Group empezó trabajando en la mina de Sweetwater en 1993 asistiendo con obteniendo el permiso y desarrollando estrategias de la gestión de Embalse de relaves para la mina. También diseñamos e instalamos un innovador sello interno para reparación de los dañados decanta el conducto de descarga de la mina. El equipo de Tierra Group empezó trabajando en Sweetwater otra vez en 2015 diseñando un depósito de relaves (TSF) de presa de 5 pies de altura y un recrecimiento de vertedero. Los retos del diseño único fueron superados con una investigación de campo integral incluyendo CPT y perforación de barrena de vástago hueco. Se realizaron análisis de licuefacción e incorporados en el diseño de recrecimiento de aguas arriba. Un modelo de hidrología difícil se completó y un recrecimiento del vertedero existente fue diseñado. El diseño del recrecimiento fue aprobado por Consejo de Seguridad de Presas y Reservorios MDNR en marzo de 2016. La construcción se completó en 2017 temprano con apoyo con Tierra Group supervisando las actividades de construcción y evaluación de cambios de diseño propuestos. Un informe de As-Built se completó en abril de 2017 conforme a requisitos de MDNR. Tierra Group continuó su apoyo a Sweetwater mediante el desarrollo de un plan de deposición, balance de agua, estudio de hidrología y modelado de geotécnica para el diseño recrecimiento de la presa de relaves adicional.
