Earthworks & Construction Quality Control (CQC) Services

Tierra Group provided earthworks and concrete Construction Quality Control (CQC) services for B2Gold's Fekola Mine in western Mali. Tierra Group overcame the remote location and kept a dedicated team on-site throughout the 2-year mine development. Tierra Group assisted Fekola Mine expansion planning by completing a tailings siting study for a new 40-million-tonne TSF. Flat terrain and a dynamic mine plan presented unique challenges for cost minimization while maximizing TSF storage capacity.

Hydrogeological & Geotechnical Program Support

Tierra Group provided geotechnical and hydrogeological engineers to supervise the underground drilling program.

Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) 2 Construction Supervision

Tierra Group performed construction quality assurance (CQA) and quality control (CQC) during TSF2 construction.

TSF Raise CQA & Supervision

Tierra Group supervised the CQC and CQA for a TSF raise. Work included operating a field soils lab and monitoring daily construction activities, including daily field reporting and completing an As-Built construction report
