El proyecto de Midas Gold está ubicado en el remoto central Idaho Rockies cerca de la ciudad de Yellow Pine. Es un proyecto de oro antimonio de terrenos baldíos con tres tajos abiertos y una planta anticipada de rendimiento 22.000 toneladas por día, junto con el terreno difícil y restricciones ambientales. Tierra Group fue responsable de la realización del diseño preliminar de la factibilidad para la instalación TSF propuesto, desviación de agua y gestión del agua en todo el sitio, incluyendo contenidos relevantes para el informe técnico de prefactibilidad compatible con NI 43-101. Tierra Group desarrolló un diseño de prefactibilidad para el TSF, desviación de agua superficial y el cierre plan del TSF y residuos de instalaciones de almacenamiento de la roca. El TSF se va forrar con un sistema compuesto de geo-sintéticos y también incluye un terraplén de escollera aproximadamente 460 pies de altura que se construirá en varias etapas durante el desarrollo del proyecto. Desviaciones incluyen un canal de desvío de un arroyo perenne alrededor del TSF y un canal combinado / túnel de desvío de un río alrededor de uno de los tajos abiertos. La desviación del túnel fue diseñada para facilitar el paso de acceso de migración de salmón, apertura de acceso al hábitat que había sido bloqueada durante décadas debido a la explotación minera anterior en el distrito. Tierra Group continúa apoyando a Midas completando evaluaciones geotécnicas de referencia y investigaciones geotécnicas.
